Patient information

Know what to expect before you arrive.

Practical guidance for first visits, ongoing care and moments when you need help quickly.

Your first visit

We begin with your concerns, medical and dental history, a comprehensive examination and diagnostic records where appropriate. Please bring a list of current medicines.

Consultations and planning

Findings are explained before options are discussed. Larger plans may need a separate review appointment so you can consider choices and ask further questions.

Estimates

You receive a written estimate before planned treatment. If new clinical information changes the recommendation, we discuss the reason and updated cost first.

Appointments and cancellations

Please give at least two working days’ notice where possible. A late cancellation charge may apply when reserved clinical time cannot be offered to another patient.

Nervous patients

Tell us what has made dentistry difficult. We can agree signals, explain each stage and pace visits around what feels manageable.

Accessibility

Please contact the care team before your visit to discuss step-free access, mobility, sensory or communication needs so practical arrangements can be confirmed.

Aftercare

Written advice is provided after relevant procedures. Contact us if recovery differs from what was explained or you are worried.

Urgent problems

Call the practice for triage. Severe swelling affecting breathing or swallowing, uncontrolled bleeding or serious facial injury requires emergency medical help.

Your next step

Begin with a conversation.

Share your concerns and our patient care team will help arrange an appropriate first visit.
